I’m Bryce Egan — a U.S. Navy veteran and computer science graduate with a background in mission-critical operations and technical leadership. In the Navy, I worked aboard the USS Comstock on complex electronic systems such as RAM and SSDS, supervised small technical teams, and learned how to troubleshoot under pressure while keeping reliability and safety at the center of everything.
After separating from active duty, I pursued computer science to move from operating and maintaining systems to building them. I’m strongest in C++ and Python, and I enjoy work that has clear goals, measurable outcomes, and real-world purpose.
In my free time, I build hands-on Projects like a small homelab, embedded automation, and a standalone cryptographic appliance built around a smart card. I’m always learning and love working with people who have similar interests.
